| Vehicle Description |
| The BMW 528i Sport is an enthusiast's sports sedan that works well in everyday life. The midsized BMW 5-Series has been a benchmark in the sports sedan category since its inception in the early 1970s. The 1998 model, introduced at the beginning of the 1997 model year, strongly reinforces that reputation. When driving a 528i watch the speedometer because what feels like a legal speed is much higher than one might expect. The 2.8-liter twin cam, 24-valve inline six is smooth and melodious with excellent midrange power. VANOS variable valve timing helps it make power over a wide rpm range with 190 horsepower. This Beemer is Arctic Silver Metallic with a Black leather interior. It is adorned with all of the normal creature comforts you would expect in a BMW as well as the Steptronic automatic transmission, a power moon roof and heated seats. The body is in really good shape with minimal signs of wear. The interior is in even better shape except for the cup holders (the drivers will not stay closed and the rear seat cup holders are missing as they completely broke). The brake light is on indicating the car needs brake work. The brakes have all been checked and have ample pad life left and they work perfectly so this is a mystery. The only other concern is that on occasion the computer will state the rear lights have a bad bulb but they are all working properly. In January of 2008 it got a new radiator, cooling fan, thermostat, pulley, hoses and a belt. In September of 08 the tranny was rebuilt. The car drives out real nicely and with just 127,000 miles she still has a ton of life left in here.
