This 2001 Birkin S3 is a perfect replica of a 1967 LOTUS SUPER SEVEN and is unique in every way. This is a wonderful high performance car which is also beautiful and in perfect condition. It has a total of 8,200 miles on the clock and is ready to go! The 220HP Dunnell engine was built and set up by Pete Challinor of “Circle ‘C’ Performance” and makes this car perform at a level very few cars in the World can match! The total package was put together by Dick Brink of Texas Motor Works, the US based sales and support organization for Birkin South Africa.
It has a 5 speed semi-helical T-9 Box with Quaife gears. The differential is also equipped with a Quaife LSD for fantastic traction! This machine will blow your mind with respect to acceleration! It has full body British Racing Green paint which is trimmed around the nose and along the bonnet with Lotus Yellow. This car comes equipped with a convertible top and doors, a Bikini Top, special seats for comfort, Team Tech Racing belts, an electric oil pressure gauge, lightened flywheel and competition clutch, 160 mph speedo, wind wings, spare tire carrier with spare, Carrera Shocks, tonneau cover, ITG intake filter, tall roll-over bar and many other special features which makes this car wonderful and safe to drive! |
