This is a reproduction car Made by Manta cars of California. They were in buisness from 1970-1983.
They manufactured this car as a street legal reproduction of the can am formula 1 Mclaren M8 race car.
There are approx. about 90 of these cars left in the world. This car has won national show competition and was filmed by ESPN speedvision on july of 2003. It has a fresh 355 Chevy motor that produces approx. 400 HP. has dart heads, 205 valves, 4-bolt mains, 10.25-1 compression, large cam. the car weighs approx. 1900 lbs, and is 33 inches high at the roof. All fiberglass on a tubular frame designed by Manta cars. Front mounted Radiator, coolant runs thru the tubular frame back to the mid mounted power plant. Air adjustable front suspension, rear independent. dual 7 gal. fuel cells. removable windows and hatches. Serious buyers only!!!This car is very fast and not a kids toy. This is street legal and drivable in the state of Pennsylvania.
