DESCRIPTION
The engine is a 391 CID medium-duty truck engine that I had rebuilt. I installed it in the truck because the original 223 was too small to pull the loads. The engine includes shorty headers (you can't find exhaust manifolds that aren't cracked), the pipes and mufflers, 4 bbl carb, electronic ignition for a Ford 390 engine (including a 390 distributor and tailpiece bushing in the block), alternator, Amsoil dual remote filtration system, 3 core radiator in excellent condition, radiator fan, and V-8 frame crossmember. Bellhousing, clutch, T/O bearing, and pilot tool (be sure to ask for that). The transmission is a T-98 truck 4 speed (granny box)with PTO. I had some work done on it at one point to replace a chipped or broken gear. Works fine, but the synchros might be weak. The drive shaft is two piece with the carrier bearings and U-joints having been replaced within two years of the truck being taken out o service. The rear end is a 2 speed, and has 6 lug hubs and wheels for 9.00 X 22.5 tubless tires(included--3 of the 4 tires hold air). The original 1953 rear end wore out, and I bought this one as having been in a 1975 F-750 model. I have had a scale weight of 20,000 lbs, so this axle will carry anything your tires can. It includes extra parts for the 2-speed motor I can split this up and sell just the pieces that you want. But I really need everything to go. Pick-a-part style. You come with your tools and truck, and I can help you remove the parts. More photos here: http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/4906197547.html
