The rear axle was made into a trailer in the forties. Both wheels turn easily. Sedan was owned by my grandfather. The trailer was kept reasonably good, oiled etc. In 2003, I got a pickup truck. The axle has been sitting in the back yard since 2003. The floor lasted so the axle was partially protected from the weather. I just removed the last of the floor and cleaned it up some, and put air in the tires. Both wheels turn easily. Located in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
