Description
Chevrolet :: 150, 210, Bel Air
1955-1957 Chevrolet chassis. Only 1500 miles on this chassis and came out from under a 55 Bel-Air hardtop. New 355 V8 with a calculated 410 HP at 5500 RPM. 2.02/1.60 iron heads with roller rockers and a roller cam and lifters. This is not a radical engine, just a great running street performance engine. Polished intake, 600 edelbrock carb. polished AC compressor and Chrome one wire alternator. Mallory distributor and Sanderson cast headers. New 700R overdrive auto trans, new driveshaft and rebuilt stock rear end with new Eaton positraction with 3.55 gears, all new bearings and new wheel bearings. Chassis has dropped spindles, disc brakes and tubular upper a-arms with new balljoints and steering and suspension parts as needed. All brakes are plumbed for dual master cylinder. New sway bars front and rear. This chassis was just removed from the 55 about a month ago as he installed the aftermarket chassis I sold him. Much more involved here with the new starter, front bracketry, air cleaner and aluminum valve covers, plug wires and so on.
