1962 Pontiac 389 -- Runs but needs rebuild

For Sale: 1962 Pontiac 389 Engine from 1962 Bonneville. Charlotte, NC. Still in car. Engine runs and drives but needs a rebuild. $400 without transmission, $500 with transmission. We plan on pulling this motor and transmission in the next couple of weeks or you can pull it yourself before we start the swap. This is the original engine. It has 136,000 miles on it, so it is puffing some significant blow-by through the crankcase and will need a complete rebuild. Carter AFB carburetor. The transmission (Pontiac Hydra-Matic 3-speed) will also need a rebuild -- it's finicky about going into reverse and shudders at certain speeds. HVAC gear (factory air car) is also coming off, so let me know if you need any of that. Anything I've left out, just ask.
