| Pontiac Executive |
In 1966 the Executive was first seen on the Star Chief and was named the Star Chief Executive, although it was not until 1967 that is was offered as its own series, and replaced the Star Chief. The Pontiac Executives featured much of the same equipment as the Catalina with the exception of a few more amenities, deluxe trim, and a longer wheelbase and overall length.
Executives were offered as a 4-door sedan, 2-door hardtop, 4-door hardtop, and Safari six and nine passenger Station Wagon with simulated wood-grain paneling. The Executive was produced through 1970 and was then replaced by the Pontiac Catalina Brougham series. |
