The Plymouth Valiant was first produced by Plymouth in 1960 and was offered through 1976. The Valiant was created as an entry into the ever growing compact car market. The first generation Valiant rode on a 106.5 in wheelbase. Redesigned in 1963 with a ½ in shorter, 106 in wheelbase, the Valiant was quite successful with several different models that were spun off it. In 1967 the Valiant reached new heights with a total redesign.
