The Crestline included all the chrome of the Customline Series, plus additional trim and wheel covers. It was the first totally new body from Ford since 1949. The new models featured a one piece curved windshield, full width rear window, protruding round parking lights, simulated scoop on the rear quarter panels, round three bladed spinner in the middle of the grill, redesigned instrument panel and suspended clutch and brake pedals and so much more.
