| AMC AMX |
| The AMC AMX made its first debut on February 24, 1968 as the first steel-bodied, two seat American production model since the 1957 Ford Thunderbird. By slicing a foot out of the Javelin body, AMC was able to eliminate the rear seat and make the new AMX a two seat sports car. |
