1980 Pontiac Trans Am

The 1980 Firebird was only slightly modified in appearance, while the large change came in a drop of engine selections. The firebird 400, was no longer and option and Pontiac offered for the first time a Turbocharged 301 V8 for the Firebird. Sales where now on the decline and performance seeking enthusiasts where not impressed with the new engine options and ratings.
