| Little changed outside for the 1977 Corvette, although sales jumped up by 5 percent despite a hefty price hike of $1043.00, spiking the base price up to $8,648.00. The "Stingray" name was officially dropped for the 1977 Corvettes and new cross flag emblems were added. Other changes included redesigned center console, standard leather upholstery, and no-cost power steering and brakes. A 180 hp V8 remained standard, with a 210 hp L82 version optional. |
