Look for the GS monograms on the front fenders, deck and hood to identify or additional emblems for those cars equipped with the 455 Stage I options. At an additional cost, a GSX package was available and came with a painted hood, accent striping, blacked out grille, dual hood air scoops and special monograms. The GS standard engine is a 350 cu. in V8 4bbl with a compression ratio of 8.5:1 with a standard 3 speed manual transmission. Available as options was a 455 V8 Stage 1 engine and a 3 speed Turbo Hydramatic transmission, column or console shift mounted or a 4 speed manual. Inside the GS, interior dimensions are as follows: 37.9 inches - front head room 36.3 inches - rear head room 41.6 inches - front leg room 32.3 inches - rear leg room 58.5 inches - front shoulder room 57.1 inches - rear shoulder room
