The Javelin received a minor facelift for 1969 with a slightly altered grille, an injection molded ABS plastic with a bull's eye emblem. It also received a new floor mounted 3 speed shift. Little less than 41,000 units were built, causing production totals to be down from the previous year.

Also available again was the "Go" package including a 343 or 390 cu. in V8 engine, dual exhausts, power disc brakes Re line tires, handling package and black fiberglass hood scopes. A new package was introduced, the "Mod Javelin" and featured a roof mounted spoiler, simulated exhaust rocker trim and blacked out simulated air scoops.
