The 1968 Pontiac Catalina Convertible had Morrokide seats.
1968 Pontiac Catalina
Peripheral front bumper, pointed nose, split grille, new interior, revised instrument panel, and redesigned taillights were the new styling features of the 1968 Pontiac Catalina. The Catalina's safety features included the standard GM equipment. They had a cigar lighter, glove box and ashtray lights, wood-grained dash trim, carpeting, concealed two-speed wipers, and a 2-barrel carburetor was also standard. The Catalina convertibles and station wagons had Morrokide seats and the nine passenger station wagon had a power window in the tailgate. Catalinas still had the Ventura Custom trim option, some with bucket seats and other with bench seats, which gave you a special interior trim and "Ventura" lettering on the front fenders were it would say "Catalina" normally.
Location Of Engine Code: (Six-Cyl) - On cylinder head-to-block contact surface behind oil filter pipe. (V8) - Stamped on right front side of block or beneath production engine number on machined pad on right hand bank of engine block.

NOTES: The first letter of a two-letter paint code identifies the body color. The second letter identifies the roof color. (For example, the combination EC on a Pontiac would indicate the body finished in Aegena Blue Metallic and the roof area in Cameo Ivory.) General Motors paint code plate for all models except Corvair and Corvette is located under the hood at the top of the firewall on the left or right of the upper shroud. Corvair paint code plate is on the left cross-rail in the engine compartment. Corvette paint code plate is on the instrument panel brace, below the glove compartment.
NOTE: Unpolished LUCITE® will generally produce a gloss comparable to original interior semi-gloss finishes. If lower gloss is required, use 1/2 oz. DuPont #4528S flattening compound to a pint of unreduced color.
