Significant changes were made in the 1967 Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang

The 1967 Ford Mustang was the first time since its beginning to be significantly changed. It was similar to it's original style but just bigger. The grille feature a larger opening and the feature lines on the side led to larger simulated air scoops. The taillight were three vertical lenses on each side of a concave panel and the gas cap was located in the center of the panel. About seven percent of the 1967 mustangs had the four-speed manual transmission, 98 percent had bucket seats, 15 percent had vinyl tops, 16 percent had air conditioning, and a rare feature was the dual exhaust found on about 25,000 cars.
