With sales still on the rise, the Mustang was offered in 1967 with new styling. Still similiar to it's original design, the new '67's featured "more" with a larger grille opening and simulated side scoop. The rear was also restyled with three lenses on each side of the concave rear panel with a gas cap located in the center. Standard equipment included; bucket seats, carpeting, vinyl interior trim, heater, floor-mounted shifter, wheel covers, cigarette lighter and all Ford safety features. The fasback came with special emblems, rocker molding and wheel covers.
