The Chevrolet Brookwood was a station wagon option as part of the Biscayne Series. For 1961, Chevy Wagons are offered in 3 six-passenger and 3 nine-passenger models. There's up to 97.5cu. ft. for cargo, and every model gives you the convenience of four wide doors. A new concealed compartment under the rear platform gives additional stowage space in all models. The second seat in Chevy Wagons folds flush with the floor in a single motion. A substantially wider (over 9 inches) and taller tailgate opening makes it simpler to stow cargo, easier to enter the rear-facing third seat. Special concealed hinges counterbalance more of the tailgate weight, make it easier to open and close.
