1958 Chevrolet Yeoman
The Yeoman was a Station Wagon produced by Chevrolet for only one model year. Built to appeal to the outdoorsy crowd, the Yeoman featured vinyl upholstery, rubber floor mats, and a linoleum platform to make the interior a breeze to wash. A Yeoman could be purchased as either a 2-door or 4-door with the capacity to fit 6 passengers.

Note: After 1957, Chevrolet did not provide breakdown by individual model series, only body style. Production numbers were, four-door sedan = 491,441; two-door sedan = 256,182; four-door station wagon = 170,473; sport coupe = 142,592; sport sedan = 83,330; convertible = 55,989; two-door station wagon = 16,590.
VIN Numbers |
Serial Numbers were stamped on a plate on the left front door hinge pillar (center pillar on Corvair and on the driver-side door post on Corvette). The Fisher Body number plate on the right-hand side of the cowl gives additional information such as the body style number, the production sequence number, the trim (upholstery) number code and the paint number code. |
