If youre looking for the rarest of the rare late model Mustangs, look no further than this 1998 Saleen SA15. One of just 10 produced to commemorate Saleens 15th anniversary, this 400-original-mile Mustang is the cleanest example in existence. All body panels are original to the car and the Bright Yellow paint retains its showroom glow. Saleen visual cues include a custom body kit, large SR-351 wing, custom graphics and a fiberglass tonneau cover to conceal the rear seats. Under the hood is a familiar 4.6L V8 with a 90 cubic inch roots-style supercharger with two-stage liquid cooling. Combined with a Saleen tune and custom exhaust, the setup is good for 320hp / 290lb. ft. of torque capable of motivating the car to 4.8 second 0-60 runs and 13.3 second quarter mile passes. Everything in the bay is as Saleen built it with no further modifications. Backing the 4.6 is a Tremec 5-speed that channels power to a Saleen limited slip differential pack with 3.55 gears. Suspension is Saleen tuned and features specially designed Racecraft springs, struts and a large front sway bar with urethane bushings. Braking comes courtesy of a 4-wheel disc setup with large 13-inch rotors and four-piston calipers up front. At the corners, 18" x 8.5" five spoke Speedline wheels are color matched to the body and wrapped in sticky Michelin tires. Inside, the cloth-covered seats wear Saleen/SA15 logos. The gauges are white face Saleen unites that sit behind the Carbon fiber steering wheel. Tons of custom touches including body color accents on the door panels and a serialized plaque on the console.
