This Allante was built during the second year of production, one of only 2,569 built in 1988. The Allante was built to compete with the famed Mercedes SL series convertibles of the time. This fine example has only 74,000 miles on it and is painted with Cadillac's signature White pearl paint. Interior is hand fitted with red Italian Leather seat coverings by Recaro. It has been upgraded with a factory aluminum hardtop that was a $5,500 option, making the car much more drivable in climate weather. The car retains it factory soft top, but is in need of some repair. This fine example was sold for a base price of $56,533 when new. This extraordinary vehicle has a body built in Turin Italy by the coachworks of Pininfarina, designer for appointment of Ferrari and Rolls Royce.
