2004 Chevy SSR Roadster - Smokin Asphalt

This 2004 Chevrolet SSR convertible pickup is the ultimate fun buggy with the heart of a Corvette. Chevy only made these current classics from 2003 to 2006, and they now have a cult following. The look is a low-slung, wide-track version of the early 50s Chevy pickup.

This one is a low mileage 2-owner beauty with a pristine Carfax. The official name for this color is Smoking Asphalt, and it turns heads with the top up or down. A few torch red hi-lites like caliper covers and bowtie badging add some eye candy to this gentlemans hotrod. Roof hydraulics are currently inoperative will reduce price by $1,000 to handle repairs.

This one is the upgraded Sport Model with Bose 4-way sound, integrated running boards, custom truck bed, storage boxes, heated seats, proximity warning and a throaty exhaust that gets your blood boiling. In the five years, she has been in my garage, I have only added 12000 miles, mostly to car shows and beach cruising. Clean and crisp with all power goodies.

Standard power is the Vortec 5.3 liter mill from the Corvette LS-1 family hooked up to a 4-speed automatic. Black leather interior with brushed aluminum trim, PS, PW, frigid A/C and powered convertible hard top that works like a charm.

The look is like no other - a mean stance with wide low profile 20-inch Goodyears in back and rakish 19s in front riding on 5-spoke alloy rims. Rides and drives like a new fatboy with tuned suspension, big brakes, and great road manners.
