Cadillacs ultra-luxury roadster, the Allante was produced from 1987 to 1993 and the 93 model had major refinements to its technology convincing most it was by far the best. A beefy 4.6L V8 engine with 295 hp produced a 140 mph top speed. The 4-speed automatic transmission was now electronically controlled and paid off with quick and unobtrusive shifts. Engineers at Cadillac introduced the new Road Sensing Suspension which had sensors at each wheel that "read" the road by measuring wheel position and body motion. These improvements along with many others made this a wonderful driving sports car with luxury to boot. The Italian Caddy that we have has been pampered since new and its interior and exterior appearance proved that.
