 Vehicle Description
Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to bring you one of the coolest modern luxury hot rods that you could find on the market. Before you is a 2004 Cadillac XLR. As most of you would remember this car was a hard top convertible, and took a lot of things from the Corvette of the day and made it a luxury Corvette almost. People have called this the Cadivette, others we have heard called it the comfortable Corvette. Regardless of what you call it, we call it cool, and damn fun to drive. These cars were the best of all worlds. You had all the luxuries that Cadillac could throw you, yet the car just begged your right foot to go to the floor like a Corvette. The interior of this 2004 Cadillac XLR just screamed luxury with plush comfortable leather seats that would adjust in about as many positions as you could think of. You wrapped your hands around a wood and leather wrapped steering wheel, and you had the heads up display of the Corvette, GPS, and a killer stereo that you could hear for days. You just slid in to this car, put your foot on the break and hit the push button start and you were ready to hit the town. Speaking of the push button start, what you started was a fire breathing 320 horsepower 4.6 Litre V8 that was matted to a 5 speed automatic that would cruise around town, but like your friends when you were young daring you to do all kinds of things, this motor just begs you to put your foot in it. With the efficiency and power of this motor you could be at triple digits in no time flat and only have one hand on the wheel. That is just how good these cars drive. If you wanted to have some say, adventurous driving, you could flip the shift lever over to the auto stick side and shift gears up and down with ease. No it wasnt a 5 speed manual, but still made this car even a little more fun to drive. Now, whether you are looking to haul balls down the highway, or you are looking to just roll in to your local country club, this car looks as good with its top down as it does up. No levers to unlatch, no covers to open up. Just press and hold the top down button and just watch the magic happen. It was never known as the fastest hard top convertible in terms of how fast the top folds up and down, but as you will see in the you tube video, it is a thing of beauty to watch as the mechanics take this top and tuck it away and just as easily put it back up. One of the cool things about this car when you are cruising with the top down is that the way the car is designed it doesnt buffer you to death and beat you up while driving the car. Even at lets say better than average speeds. This was not a cheap car to buy when it was new. This car retailed for a ton of cash when it was new and the V version of this car was well over $100k. Fortunately, for the buyer today, all of that retail depreciation is COMPLETELY GONE. As you see with this fine example here you can get this car today for under $20,000. This is a fun car that you can get in and drive and have the time of your life. We still run in to people today that have never seen one of these cars and wonder what it is. Even though Cadillac made them from 2004 to 2009, they are still somewhat of a rare piece. Come on down and speak with us today and let us show you just how easy it is to take this fun piece of a 2004 Cadillac XLR home with you today. We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of the option. We look forward to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.
