| NEW LOCATION, moved from Durham, CT to the GUILFORD FAIRGROUNDS, 111 Lovers Lane, Guilford, CT. Improved field, permanent restrooms, more food vendors. 8AM - 3PM, Rain or Shine. Vehicles to 1983, Dash plaques to the first 600 cars, 35 show car classes, this years featured car is 1955-57 Chevrolet. Most show car classes are by brand affiliation and other classes include Muscle Cars, Pick Ups, Commercial and Fire Apparatus. There is also a non judged class for special interest newer cars manufactured after 1983. Trophies: Three per class, plus Best of Show, Best of Featured Class, and 3 trophies to the Best of Unrestored Cars. Car Corral; Over 900 show cars and 225 vendor spaces filled in the past; Non modified show cars pre-dating 1930 will be allowed free entry. DJ, food vendors, t-shirts, door prizes. Show Cars $10.00; Vendor Space 20' X 20' preregistered by 7/18/08 $15.00, show day $30.00; Admission $4.00, Sr. $3.00, under 12 yo free; Directions to NEW LOCATION - GUILFORD FAIRGROUNDS: I-95 exit 59 then follow signs. |
