Event starts 10:00 AM at Veteran's Memorial Park just south of the Florida State Fairgrounds on Hwy 301 in Tampa.
Auction and Raffle from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Group leaves park at 1:00 PM to a central location to meet with "Forgotten" children who would not be receiving Christmas presents. These children live with single parents, grandparents, ore are special needs people. You personally present the children with your gift and at 2:30 PM the kids unwrap those gifts. You are there to see a unique spirit of Christmas. Children are invited from Riverview/Gibsonton, Brandon, Seffner, Mango, Valrico and West Plant City and can not be on any other Christmas charity lists.
Drawing for 50/50 raffle at 3:30 PM. Must be present to win. In 15 years, over 2500 children have received Christmas from people like you. To make this event happen each year we need sponsors and volunteers (know any kids needing community service time to graduate?)to make the event happen.
There is a Christmas decorated vehicle show with trophies at the central location during the gift giving. |
