Willows once again hosts the 22nd Annual Show, coordinated by the Willows Car & Bike Association, a California non-profit. The Show is to raise funds for vocational scholarships for Glenn County youth who plan to continue their education at a trade (vocational) school.
Friday, August 15 the show will be in the downtown area, with a BBQ, Cruise, Show & Shine, Wine & Cheese Tasting, and DJ music beginning at 5:00pm.
Saturday, August 16, the show begins at Jensen Park with a Pancake Breakfast at 6:00am, and Registration at 7:00am. All entries should be parked by 10:00am. The day will feature a Poker Run, bike games, Valve Cover races, and the first "3-Dot Drop". You may buy a car (numbers 1 - 250) for $5.00 and the local Fire Department will drop all purchased cars onto the baseball field from the top of the ladder truck, where, if your car lands on or nearest one of the 3 'dot' points on the field, you win cash prizes. Judging is by outside experienced judges. Awards are given out at 3:00pm. Oldies 102.1 (Chico) will be on-site during the day to play your requests.
Car & Bike entry fee is $25.00. Vendor fee is $25.00. Food, Craft, and Commercial vendors are invited. All entry forms will be mailed mid-May. For further information, or to get on the mailing lists, contact us via phone or e-mail.
