This is Chief Meteorologist Mark Dorner from the Sparkman High School Band Booster Car Show network. Tomorrows forecast calls for rain to end about 8am, with partly cloudy skies the rest of the day. Morning lows in the high 50s, with a high temp of 65 that afternoon.
The show will go on as scheduled! Registration starts at 0930. Performances by the Indoor Percussion and Color Guard at 1pm. Awards at 2pm.
Hope to see hundreds of cars/trucks/motorcycles there!
1st Annual Sparkman High School Band Boosters Car/Truck/Motorcycle show. Get the battery tenders off those cars and get them polished up for a spring show to support the Award Winning Indoor Percussion and Winter Color Guard of Sparkman High School. We'll have door prizes, concessions, and live performances from these talented kids. Email me if you have any questions or concerns at email@example.com.
Details are starting to come together for the show. A few notes:
1. There is no pre-registration. Registration is $20 for participants, and will be paid the morning of the show, starting at 9:30am.
2. We will park folks in the order they arrive. If you want to park together, arrive together. It works best to meet offsite at a local parking lot and drive in together.
3. Vendors are welcome, but we cannot have outside food vendors on school grounds. Concessions will be available.
4. We will have live performances of our award winning Indoor Percussion Group and Winter Guard. This is a treat! Trust me!
We're looking forward to a great show. Hope to see hundreds of cars/trucks/motorcycles.
We have a facebook page with the latest info. We are expecting good weather Saturday, but if we need to invoke a rain date, we'll do so here:
