The Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that summer fun in Metuchen is about to begin. As convertible tops come down, downtown Metuchen will heat up, with Cruise Nights 2008! Shows are scheduled for the first Wednesdays of the Summer months (May – September), with rain dates scheduled for second Wednesdays. Each show will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Stroll
Take your sweetheart and kids for a stroll on the lovely streets of downtown Metuchen. Check out the classic cruisers and remember days gone by. During each event, there are 40 to 50 real beauties lining the streets. Ben Deutschman, a local resident and President of The NY/NJ Slant-Six Club of America, says, “I am proud to have brought the idea of this ‘Cruise Night’ to my hometown and to be a part of this great family oriented downtown event.”
