Most people think that American Graffiti was filmed in Modesto, Ca. but when George Lucas went looking for a filming location that reminded him of his home town of Modesto, he chose Petaluma, Ca. Petaluma today looks just like it did when Mr. Lucas filmed here in the summer of 72. Come join us as we bring back the good times of the 50's and 60's. Meet some of the movie stars and see the movie cars. Help us honor Henry Travers, and help support his scholarship fund, at our special "Dinner with the Stars". Watch our website, Americangraffiti.net for current information and car registration. Our car registration opens in February and fills very, very fast. In 2008, we recreated the cop car scene from the movie, yes we yanked the rear end out of our 61 Ford Galaxie police car, who knows what we have planned for 2009!!
