6th Annual Charity Chili and Pootfest

Event Dates: February 16, 2014 - February 16, 2014 Location: Denison, Texas

All proceeds go to the winners charity of choice Must be a qualified 501(c)(3). $5 lets you taste and vote for the best chili and the best beans! Enter by yourself or a team. Chili and/or beans must be cooked on site. No cans. Beans may be pre-soaked overnight. Any variety of chili or bean welcome. Winners are chosen by a combination of blind judging and popular vote. Winners receive one of a kind clodknocker trophies. Live music: Charlie Jones and Special Guests (Starts around 1PM). Entry fee $25 for one pot or two! Gates open for cookers at 9AM. Minimum of 2 gallons to allow for public tasting. Judging around 2PM. Pre-register to reserve your favorite spot/table, or just show up and cook. Some tables available with reserve. Well cook on the covered porches if weather is wet. Invite all your friends!
