North Plains started to "celebrate" their town in 1989 and the Garlic Festival was added in 1997. Although a small town, the Garlic Festival has drawn up to 12,000 people during the three day event. The Car Show is a one day event open to one and all. Whomever has a vehicle to show is encouraged to come. This years show is much closer to the the festival grounds, so much more foot traffic is expected from the Garlic Festival. Come out and enjoy the fun!
