Building upon RM’s reputation for presenting important and historic Ferraris, the sale features no less than 11 examples led by a stunning 1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider, chassis 1055 GT. With matching numbers and desirable factory covered headlamps, it is offered in remarkably well-preserved condition in its original color of Rosso Rubino with a black top and black leather interior. Additional sports and racing highlights include a 1961 Chaparral 1 Sports Racing Car, chassis 003, campaigned by Jim Hall in period, as well as Ferrari Classiche certified 1964 Ferrari 250 GT/L ‘Lusso’, chassis 5215 GT, boasting a meticulous restoration. Additional featured consignments include a selection of Classic Era motor cars highlighted by an ACD Club Category One certified 1930 Duesenberg Model J ‘Disappearing Top’ Convertible Coupe, J-357, known to enthusiasts as “Melvin’s Murphy” as well as a very well-documented 1929 Bentley 4 1/2-Litre Tourer, chassis NX3467, one of the most original and authentic unrestored examples in existence.
