s the final stanza to the 2013 NMRA points-earning race season, the 15th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals commence in Bowling Green, Kentucky, over the weekend of October 3-6 2013. This event wraps up the points battles in all of the NMRAs racing classes, and brings the most awesome All-Ford and Mustang action to the quarter-mile dragstrip at Beech Bend Park - the site of many incredible feats in the Mustang world. The first World Ford Challenge was held here in Bowling Green. John Urist has wrapped up EIGHT ProCharger Super Street Outlaw championships here. 5.0 Mustang Magazine hosts their King of the Street competition here each year. Many other class records have been set, re-set, eclipsed and demolished in an effort to win an NMRA championship and all of the glory and accolades that come with it. So when we say you should mark these dates on your calendar and plan your vacation time now, theres a reason for it!
Last year at this event, seven of the eight heads-up class elapsed time records were set during Sundays elimination rounds. ALL NMRA championships will be decided at the end of the weekend.
