The MOOSE:

First the organization, the Cayce Moose Family Center, made of a men and women's chapters are a part of Moose International, both being private nonprofit organizations. The Moose is a family organization dedicated to taking care of the young and old not only in our organization but our community as well. Moose International is the the full body of all chapters and lodges, supports Moose Heart, known as the child city and is one of the world's largest orphanages, as well as Moose Haven which is one of the largest retirement communities in the United States. As mentioned, the Cayce Moose does lot of community service right here in South Carolina. We work with the Oliver Gospel Mission, Ronald McDonald House, Transition House who takes in the homeless, including homeless Veterans, gives them a place to stay and helps the individual to work their way back on their feet; we also work the Hannah's House which is a rescue home for battered women and children only. We also do work with the VA Dorn Hospital, Adopt-A-Highway, holiday seasonal work and work with some pet rescue shelters in the area. We adding one or two more local charities this year for volunteer and service work.
