| Main Street rumbles with the sound of hundreds of motors as participants pour into Downtown Grand Junction for the 7th Annual Fuoco Motor Company Downtown Car Show. Hundreds of modern and antique vehicle owners attend the show to enjoy a full schedule of activities. Both car owners and spectators from all over the Western United States visit with each other, talk cars, and participate in a friendly competition for great prizes. Participants will be battling it out for awards in the following categories: Most Likely to Get a Speeding Ticket, Car That Traveled the Most Miles to Attend the Show, City of Grand Junction Mayor's Choice, DTA Board President's Choice, and Top 20 Show Vehicle Awards. Prizes include plaques and customized jackets. As in years past, a portion of the proceeds from this event is donated to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.
