This is the 18th Annual Boat Parade on Guntersville Lake in North Alabama. It is sponsored by Signal Point Marina. There is a competitive 4th of July Boat Parade where persons are welcome to Decorate thier boat up in the Red, White, and Blue make the 2 mile parade route by nearby Kawanis Pier and compete for prize money and awards. Persons show up along the long Lurleen Wallace Dr. to view the parade. After the Parade it's back to Signal Point Marina for the Live Entertainment. Please bring your boat and enter it. If you don't have a boat, please bring your Old Car, or Bike and enjoy the Live Music by our Own Country Music Artist Kacy Fox. Entertainment starts at 6:00pm. This is always a Marshall Co. Christmas Coalition, so please bring a Toy for the needy Children.
There is always plent of sceenic driving around Marshall, Jackson and Dekalb Counties in North Alabama. Drive around the sceenic Guntersville Lake. Visit Bucks Pocket and Guntersville State Parks, High Falls, Little River Canyon, and much, much more. You will definately wish to stay the Whole weekend in Guntersville and enjoy our area.
