3rd Annual SuperCruise & SuperShow’n Shine 2008:
This is a one of a kind first of its kind event held the last weekend in August Annually. This 2 Day All Day event consists of the SuperShow'n Shine operating throughout both days of the event. Located at the Johnston Station Building 5525 Merle Hay Road Johnston, Iowa with a variety of vendors offering parts, memoribelia, food, and more. Live entertainment, featuring the Radical Cycle Girls, and the SuperCruise SuperModels, a DJ, and other fun for everyone. Saturday begins with the SuperCruise a Cruise around the entire Metro and surrounding Suburbs of Des Moines, Iowa. Beginning at Johnston Station departing at 8AM utilizing the Interstate Highways 35/80 & By-Pass Highways 65/69 & Highway 5 participants will travel the route around the Metro. Exiting the Route at Periodic stops where local area businesses will be hosting coordinating events and fundraisers across the entire metro. The SuperCruise and SuperShow'n Shine is open to Hot Rods, Choppers, Low Riders, Customs, Antique, Original, Modified, any car, truck, motorcycle otherwise special, or unique any customized or modified vehicle from import tuner, to big rig we encourage participants to gather sponsors for each mile they cruise in the SuperCruise this event is to raise awareness and gather donations for those who suffer from spinal injuries, disease, and paralysis and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation along with the Launching of the Joe Kelly Spinal Surgery Foundation 2008 should be the biggest and best SuperCruise and SuperShow'n Shine yet.
