: New Zealand Built Pontiac Laurentian 1960. I am sure no other market got those, even Australia only got poverty packs. There was even a convertible (1) sold in new Zealand which a freind of mine owned in the 70's. It featured in a New Zealand movie( The Runaway?). They were equivelent of todays mercedes S class. Even if they didn't have a heater or radio....Most had Chev 283's. I can't remeber ever seeing a ponitiac V8 that was sold in New Zealand. The GM plant was in Petone, Wellington.
