oldtimerider: PS this was allso the last chevy pickups with a crank out windshield.This one is gone but were two piece that started in 1939.My 1937 I now have and 1938 that I sold were the last real small cab chevy pickups,flat one pice windshield and last with bow tie badges on the hood sides. oldtimerider: Easy one for this oldguy.1941-very early 47 Chevy.40 was last year chevy had the lights up and on the grill shield side.41 started the water fall grill and lights set on top the fenders.Lots of these still around.Most 47s look like the ones through 1953. July 9, 2008 |

panelguy: No Way....The 46/47 Fords had the headlights molded into the fenders..these are separate bullet style....and this is one bullet ridden GMC product..the hole in the passenger fender looks like a canon.....yikes....and as far as I know there are no 45 anythings.. unless they were military....
