Winyah Cruisers

The Winyah Cruisers Car Club, which hosts annual car shows during Georgetown’s Harborwalk Festival & the Hemingway BBQ & Shag Festival, was founded in 1984 in Georgetown, South Carolina. Club objectives are to promote interest in various forms of the old car and truck hobby, and to create good fellowship and sportsmanship among its membership. Money raised by the club through membership dues and various activities is donated to local charities in the area. A different charity is chosen every year, depending on the specific need and circumstances. The club’s social activities include “cruise-ins” and “cruise nights” to various locations around the area to showcase members’ prized vehicles. Club members enjoy these opportunities to share with the public the details of restoring and maintaining these automotive gems. Members also welcome anyone interested in joining the club. Winyah Cruisers meets at 7:00 p.m. the first 1st Thursday of the month "at various locations". For information about membership, contact Donald O’Quinn at 546-2954.
