The Calgary Camaro Club's purpose is to preserve the spirit of Camaros, share information, and to promote camaraderie and unification of Camaro enthusiasts. The Calgary Camaro Club was founded in the Spring of 1992 by Wayne & Marlyne Johnson and Helmut Eckert (both driving 1st generation Camaro big-block SS convertibles), who happened to meet at the annual Spring Thaw Show & Shine in Calgary. Due to the efforts of Wayne, Marlyne and Helmut, the club membership had grown to 25 by November of that year with all three generation of Camaros being represented. The club has had steady growth ever since and currently has approximately 50 members including several with 4th generation cars. The Calgary Camaro Club is always looking for new members whether they own a Camaro or are just an enthusiast. So if you live in the Calgary or surrounding area and own or are interested in Camaros, give us a call.
