The Crowds a car club that started in 1972 in Santa Maria,CA founded by Frank Perez. The car club originally just would have cruise nights on Broadway, but eventually they started to expand by putting on parties and concerts within Santa Maria. The group became very popular within the 1970s and grew to over 150 members at one point. The Crowd disbanded in the early 1980s as a lot of members became more involved in family life and didnt have the time to contribute towards the group. However, in 2014 some of the original members from The Crowd reunited in effort to have a good time like the glory days and to give back to the local community. Now The Crowd is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is provide relief and support to at-risk youth and underprivileged families through community initiatives and outreach programs.
