The Arkansas Tin Lizzies Model T club is a local chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America. The club was chartered and incorporated in the state of Arkansas in 2005.
The Arkansas Tin Lizzies Model T Club was formed with a vision to locate current Model T owners in our state, and motivate them to become involved with others in the hobby. If the members and their family become motivated with the hobby and the club, then they will be active in functions such as meetings and touring as a group in the cars.
With such a large area to cover, it was decided that the club would create four different zones to accommodate the current membership in travel to meetings and assist the members in finding others in their area who own Model T vehicles. Each zone has an elected officer who presides as chairperson in their zone with the responsibility of coordinating area meetings and driving tours. The club meets as a group every three months in a different zone thus allowing all the members to have at least one meeting reasonably close to their hometown.
The club strives to preserve and promote the Model T Ford for future generations by educating people of all ages in the history, lore and skills of maintenance of the car that put America on wheels. The annual membership fee is $10.00 per family.
