Bad Boyz Mustang Club of Greater Des Moines Iowa

The Ford Mustang has a history of all its own. First begins with Ford product manager Donald Freys introduction of the Mustang which was first introduced on April 17, 1964 to the public at the New Yorks Worlds Fair, enthusiastically supported by then-general manager Lee Iacocca. Production of the 1965 Mustang (VIN coded by Ford and titled as 1965 models began in Dearborn, Michigan on March 9, 1964. The Mustang is Ford's third oldest nameplate currently in production next to the F-Series pickup truck line (which has undergone major nameplate changes over the years) and the Falcon that is still in production in Australia. The original body style was based a great deal on the Ford Falcon and Fairlane; it enclosed a straight-6 engine, and available in a convertible or coupe version. The first model was released in early 1965, but is lovingly known as the "1964 " Mustang as it would come to be called by Pony car fans old and young alike. Bad Boyz Mustang Club originally was established in the summer of 2003 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Several of the local mustang owners establish a club to cruise to a variety of locations across Europe. The autobahn was a fast mode of transportation and safe and cruising in the Mustangs was a fun time and great pastime. In the fall of 2006 Bad Boyz Mustang Club of Kaiserslautern Germany folded due to all of the members who were in the military were transferred stateside and moved out of the Kaiserslautern, Germany area. I, Michael A. Gerlach as one of the founding members of the original club retained the rights to the site domain.
