The purpose of the Hamblen County Car Club is to promote safe, family oriented enjoyment of classic and custom cars and trucks, through club member camaraderie, monthly meetings and scheduled special events. Our monthly meeting is the 3rd Tuesday of each month except December. It is held at the Golden Corral on Andrew Johnson HWY in Morristown, TN. We eat dinner at 6 P.M. and the meeting starts at 7 P.M.
Our annual membership dues are $25. They are due Sept. 1st of each year.
We hold weekly cruise-ins at College Square Mall in Morristown every Saturday night from May through October from 6-9 P.M.
We go on a monthly Fun Run to different destinations. Recently we have gone to the Chimneys in The Smoky Mountain National Park, Natural Tunnel State Park in Virgina, and to Sommerset, KY to one of their cruise-ins.
OUR ANNUAL CAR SHOW, "CRUISIN' WITH THE CLASSICS", WILL BE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, 2009 FROM 9:00 A.M. UNTIL 4:30 P.M. AT FRED MILLER PARK ON MORRIS BLVD. IN MORRISTOWN. REGISTRATION IS $15. THERE WILL BE TROPHIES FOR CARS, TRUCKS AND MOTORCYCLES. WE'LL HAVE GRAB BAGS AND DASH PLAQUES FOR THE FIRST 100 PARTICIPANTS! THERE WILL BE DOOR PRIZES, 50/50 DRAWING, AUCTION, AND FOOD VENDORS.
