The Cruisin' Tigers were chartered in 1989. Our Club has won GTOAA Chapter of the year five times (1991, 1996, 1999, 2002 & 2007)! We have also been recognized six times (1996, 1997, 1999, 2003, 2004 & 2007) with Golden Quill Awards from Old Cars Weekly for our news letter, Tiger News. We have technical advisors for each GTO model year as well as specialty advisors (engine, transmission, paint and the like).
Our representation for the GTO Association Of America includes the Northern Illinois / Chicagoland area. We have approximately 260 members, which include Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick, Jim Wangers and others within the Pontiac family. Our membership family reaches well beyond the Chicagoland area. Perhaps you would like to join us! WE ARE THE LARGEST GTO ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA CHAPTER.
Club activities include our annual all Pontiac car show - The Indian Uprising, local cruises, technical seminars, picnics, monthly meetings, a Christmas party and other events throughout the year. |
