| Vehicle Description |
Pumper Truck, has a Waterous pump behind cab. This is International's model B176, "special fire truck chassis" with a Black Diamond 308 straight six engine. 4-speed manual trans. Only 12,000 miles since new. Cab and interior are in excellent condition, absolutely no rust in the cab /front area.
As for the fire body, the fill port at the rear of the bed is rusted out, but could be replaced by a competent welder. Seems to be OK elsewhere. I have never used any of the equipment (except the siren), so I make no claims as to the condition of the fire apparatus, and have no idea if any of the pump/guages/valves/levers/hoses work. Runs good. Paint is now weathered from the Arizona sun. |
