1965 Chevy 4x4 Fleetside Shortbed in Showroom Condition!
I have tons of pictures - just ask and you shall receive!
Built on a 1973 a ton 4x4 frame with a 454 Chevy Big Block!!! This truck was not only built to show, it was built to drive as well - ADULT owned and driven, meticulously garage kept!!!
Start with a solid Arizona body and frame. Disassemble everything, clean, prime, and paint. Spend a ridiculous amount of money on chrome, interior, accessories, and running gear and this is what you get............. ~ The engine is a 70's 454 bored .030 with 781 heads. ~ Intake is an Edlebrock Performer with a 750 carb on top. Cam is a hydraulic Isky RV with tons of low end. ~ Exhaust is dumped through Doug's tuned headers connected to 2-1/2 inch pipe into Flowmasters and run out back. ~ Trans is a new 350 Turbo built to handle the big block but still shift nicely until you stand on it. ~ Radiator is a new 4 core and this truck will not overheat whether in a parade or running flat out. ~ Differentials are Dana 44 front and 14 Corporate rear with 3:73 gears. ~ All suspension is a ton Chevy including the huge rear brakes and front discs. ~ Power steering and power brakes make driving this super truck a breeze. ~ Add the great sounding stereo, tilt wheel and ice COLD a/c and you've got a beautiful truck to cruise to shows with no worries about being left behind when the light turns green.
