This Truck has been a loyal family member since 1977, always ready to work. This is a Southern California native rust free truck and I am the second owner. I have done most of the work that this great truck has ever needed over its dutiful years. The original 360 CI engine was replaced with the very strong running 428 police interceptor in 1979. At that time the engine was built with the coming demise of leaded gasoline in mind. I had hard seats and valves installed along with TRW forged pistons, true roller timing chain set, Melling high volume oil pump, Crane cam & lifters, Hedman Hedders and all the goodies to go along with a performance engine rebuild. Then 100k miles later I went through everything again... .030 overbore TRW forged pistons new everything, (as mentioned above,) all a second time, with these items added; Mallory Unilite distributor, MSD 6-A and Accel super coil, an hour meter (for servicing) Edelbrock performer manifold and Holley 650 carb. electric fuel pump. The C6 transmission was rebuilt after the second engine rebuild. (Less than 20k miles ago)
